Maxim Halma and Mirna Mina-Abouda joined the Jimenez Sainz Lab in February. Maxim joined the lab Feb 12th and he will be working on the molecular factors that control nuclear and cytosolic localization of BRCA2. Mirna is a PhD rotation student and she will be with us until April 2024. She will be working on BRCA2 variants from gastric cancer patients. Join me in welcoming both the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the Hollings Cancer Center at MUSC.
